The relevance of Enterprise Architecture (EA) in particular for mastering complex transformations is undisputed. However, decision-makers in business and IT often struggle to fully recognize the benefits of implementing EA practices and to communicate them in a comprehensible manner to all stakeholders. EA practices are therefore often poorly accepted and little effective. To turn EA into success, it is hence of crucial importance to develop a foundational understanding of EA, to comprehend the value EA can deliver to different stakeholders, and to become acquainted with the typical application scenarios.
We are one of the leading experts for Enterprise Architecture services and products. We focus on what we do best: delivering first-in-class enterprise and IT architectures and empowering our clients to establish an Enterprise Architecture capability. When it comes to EA matters, we are the go-to partner for many large and medium-sized companies. Our trainers have extensive expertise in the practical introduction, realignment, and operationalization of EAM functions.
The training provides a comprehensive and illustrative introduction to Enterprise Architecture (EA), serving as an ideal resource for learning the fundamentals of EA and as a foundation for implementing EA practices. It covers the main architectural layers (business, application, information, and technology architecture) and explains key architectural elements, methods, application scenarios, and architectural perspectives. The training also addresses the organization of EA functions using architecture roles and EA tools as well as the process of establishing an EA practice from scratch. In detail, the training covers the following topics:
- Introduction and definition of key concepts in EA
- Overview of the layers of enterprise architecture
- Presentation of important application scenarios (incl. stakeholders and value contribution)
- In-depth exploration of application scenarios through practical exercises
- Establishment and organization of an EA function
Participation in a public training includes the Dinner & Network event. Here you have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other architects in a pleasant atmosphere and to review the day.
