The main basis of our courses is the BIZBOK® Guide (A Guide to the Business Architecture Body of Knowledge®) as well as our anthology Business Architecture Management – Architecting the Business for Consistency and Alignment.
In this training course you will become familiar with Business Architecture practices and learn to perform the typical tasks of a Business Architect. The bootcamp covers all relevant business architecture domains from business motivation (incl. mission, drivers, goals, etc.) and business model (value proposition, customers, services, value streams, etc.) down to the business execution (capabilities, processes, business objects, etc.), all of which are all illustrated based on practical examples. Specifically, the course deals with the following topics:
- Overview of business architecture elements, from business motivation via business model to business execution
- Business architecture mapping, incl., e.g., value stream mapping, capability mapping, information mapping, organization mapping
- Business architecture patterns
- Business architecture analysis and design
- Implementation of business architecture management
This business architecture training supports you in prepration for the Certified Business Architect® (CBA®) exam.
Participation in a public training includes the Dinner & Network event. Here you have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other architects in a pleasant atmosphere and to review the day.

Arash Mostashari is a Partner at Scape Consulting and responsible for the academy business. He is a certified Enterprise and Business Architect (incl. TOGAF®, CBA®, ArchiMate®) and trainer for Business Architecture. As a consultant, he is specialized in establishing, realigning, and implementing EA capabilities. In this context he has been helping companies across various industries at business and IT level in problem solving, planning, development, and communication using architecture methods and techniques, such as strategy mapping, value stream mapping, customer journey mapping and capability-based planning.
The course fee for the public Bootcamp Business Architecture Management is € 2.600. After attending the event, the certification exam for Certified Business Architect® (CBA®) can be taken in a Pearson VUE Test Center or online (Pearson VUE OnVUE) (not included in the course fees). This requires membership in the Business Architecture Guild. Already certified course participants receive Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits to maintain certification status.
All fees are per person and plus value-added tax (19%). The fees include the training material (high-quality course books), the catering during the training (i.e., refreshments and lunch) as well as the Dinner & Network event (incl. dinner and drinks). Travel and accommodation costs are not included in the course fees.
Our general terms and conditions for public training courses / seminars apply. Registrations are binding. Upon receipt of course registration a confirmation will be sent out via email. Cancellations are possible free of charge until 14 days before the beginning of a course. Substitute attendees from the same organization are accepted. Changes or cancellations must be done in text form. Scape itself reserves the right to cancel a course until 14 days prior to its start date in case of an insufficient number of registrations.
